Back home and Kickin' it!

Wow. What a week! It's good to be back in BC right now after having spent the last week in my little pontiac tearing up the I-5 with a friend.....yep, that's right! We hit up LA and took Hollywood by storm! We also took San francisco by storm......but that's another story. Don't feel so much like going into details, but I will share a quick story (one that sticks out because it's funny....maybe only to me) and I've included some of my favorite pictures from the trip. So enjoy! And here's the story:

So the traffic was pretty crappy coming home through Oregon, and I was driving behind a viciously slow driver. Needless to say, I became quite impatient after a while being stuck behind this guy/girl, and said to my friend 'I wish this retard would get out of my way!' That said, I would also like to say that I am not really a horrible person.....and I also have nothing against the 'mentally challenged.' Ok......back to the story. After calling this mystery driver a retard, I decided to go around him/her at the next straight-away. Guess who I found driving the viciously slow car? A poor old man who's head hardly came above the steering wheel! My friend turned to me, laughed and said 'you just called an old man a retard!' Well, after deciding that I need to be more careful with my words.....I left the poor old guy in my dust! Not quite sure how to end this one.....it was all so funny in my head and not so much now that I've written it down (sigh). Hope the pictures are enjoyable!
