At Work

Yep....that's right....I'm at work right now. I might just brag and say that I have the BEST patient load today. My assignment includes a man from Ireland, a woman from Scotland and a middle age woman from.....well....North America. Either way, I get to hear lots of different accents every time I enter the room. And they're all doing so well that I get to take a moment away (and it's not even my break) to write a little blog. Apparently all of the other nurses don't need my help either. I fully asked and it appears like it's going to be a clean ride until the end of the shift.
Anyhow, the reason for the blog: I've been thinking lately about what it would be like to NOT be a nurse....to have another profession. I've been contemplating this intently for the past few weeks and I've come up with my list of professions that I think I could make a living off of. So if anyone has any connections.......Here's the list:

1) Food Critic (Because I love food)
2) Photographer (Because I like taking pictures)
3) Movie Reviewer (Because I like movies)
4) Professional Traveller (I actually thought that I was making up this profession but apparently this is an actual job......and I really would like to travel more)

I will include other possible professions when they come.....in the meantime get this. One of the other nurses just came out of her room with a little container of what appeared to be liquidy pesto......but hear me now.....it was not pesto (now that I've completely disgusted half my audience, which includes aproximately 3 people, I'll end)....Oh my Heavens!! Another nurse just came out of her room and told us that her patient just peed on the floor! The guy's, like, 45 years old.....get it in the toilet buddy! If only I had someone to laugh with me right now (sigh). Anyhow, that ends my blog. It appears that I might be needed to work now.......
