Well, I almost had a heart attack.
I just started writing a post that would likely put my small audience to sleep, so here's a story from yesterday that was somewhat funny.
I went for a little walk/jog around our neighborhood. The outfit I wear is far from girly. I have these grey track shoes, and I usually wear a hoody and jogging pants.....and a toque, but yesterday was warm, so I just shoved the earphones (from my mp3 player) in my ears and got moving.
I was running along a pretty busy street and I was enjoying that it was such a nice day.....la dee dah.....when this punk teenager sitting in the passenger seat of a car shoved his face out the window and screamed 'RRAAAARRRRRRR' at me while I was running. After bracing myself (I really hope they didn't see how scared I was) and muttering something slightly profane under my breath, I continued to run.......only this time with a sudden surge of energy. In that moment I wished I was a fast runner like forrest gump, had caught up with the car and grasped onto the window of the passenger seat to shout the same line into the teenager's ear.....but it appears that I am not fast.....and am also a bit of a pansy.......so I was left to calm my rapidly beating heart by my lonesome.
So, I'm running and walking and running and walking....and I hear footsteps behind me. I look around that there's this petite teenage female running behind me. This is what she's wearing: black lululemon pants, a blue tank top and her ipod is nicely situated on her forearm with one of those straps....so you don't have to carry the thing in your hand (as I was presently doing). All in all, I basically felt like a dog, having almost had a coronary from the previous teenager scare and realizing that I am dressed (pretty much) like a male runner. The only thing that set me apart from the male population was the long brown hair (although long hair is something that some interesting males seem to believe is 'cool' for men to sport).
Anyhow, all in all the most interesting time I've had running.....er...pretending to be a runner. That's it for now. Not too much else going on here! I have a night shift tonight.....can't wait....

I needed a laugh...so I came to read your heart attack entry again... Guess what?!? It is just as funny this time... I even used my imagination to picture you giving those boys a taste of their own medicine...while you pass the lulu/ipod girl....
